Resolve leading and trailing edges
LE radius and TE closure set suction peaks and wake seeds. Undersampling here wastes every volume cell you add later. Use curvature- and feature-based sizing; HEN-AI can flag LE/TE refine.
UAV scale discipline
Small chords mean low Re and thicker relative boundary layers. Surface length scales should match the geometry Re from your HFOIL shortlist, not transport defaults.
Manifold before volume
Fix non-manifold edges and gaps in the surface stage — or run HEN-AI geometry prep (stitch, gap/hole, watertight). Volume fill cannot repair a dirty aero shell cleanly.
